Custom Ordering Information
Custom order slots for all conversion carriers, except ring slings, are available in my Hyena Cart Store . A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a slot. Specific information about your individual conversion will be discussed once the deposit is received.
For ring slings, please contact me directly by e-mail or on my Facebook Page.
Before sending a wrap in for conversion it should be freshly washed and dried. Your specific details will be summarized on your PayPal invoice which will be sent once all of the details have been discussed and I am ready to make your custom carrier.
You will be kept up to date with progress. Photographs may also be posted on the Metamorphosis Facebook page and website. If you DO NOT want these photographs to be publicly displayed then please let me know. I aim to complete all draw slot orders WITHIN four weeks of the wrap arriving to me. If for some reason this is not possible I will contact you.
If you need any advice on choosing the correct size carrier for your little one then please do not hesitate to ask.
What Size Wrap?
- A standard conversion with 76″ straps and a hood requires a 4.6 metre wrap and the addition of padded strap option or long straps requires a 5.2 metre wrap. Whenever possible, I make the wrap straps up to 85″ using all of the wrap length available.
- A petite carrier without any hood options can be made from a 4.2m wrap.
- A standard full buckle conversion requires a 3.2m wrap.
- A buckle Onbu carrier can be made without a hood from 2.0m of wrap. Add .3m for the inclusion of a hood.
- A ring sling conversion can be made from any sized wrap 1.7m or longer.

Conversion Options
Standard Mei Tai- $250
- Small – 18″ x 16″
- Large 22′ x 18″
A standard one size wrap conversion includes wrap straps, a flat strap tie or ring waist band and an adjustable or hoodie style hood. The standard mei tai is appropriate for all ages as it can be rolled from the waist to adjust size.
Deluxe Mei Tai – $300
A deluxe wrap conversion mei tai includes a sized body, darted seat, leg padding, wrap straps, a padded tie waist and an adjustable hood or hoodie style hood.
- Infant size is approximately 16″ x 15″
- In between size is approximately 17″ x 15.5″
- Toddler size is approximately 18″ x 16″
- Preschool size is approximately 19″ x 18″

- Padded Butterfly Strap (5.2m wrap required)
- Embellished hood (pintucks or chevron)

Basic Full Buckle – $275
A basic full buckle conversion includes straight shoulder straps a custom sized body, darted seat, leg padding, adjustable or hoodie style hood and a regular soft foam padded waist. A ring waist or tie waist may be substituted for a reverse half buckle.
Deluxe Full Buckle – $300

Embroidery
Embroidery is offered for the cost of purchasing the design and $40 to stitch it out.

Safety
The safety of your child is always your responsibility. It is essential that you check the condition of your Metamorphosis carrier BEFORE EACH USE and DO NOT USE IT if you see any signs of damage/wear and tear. Metamorphosis can not be held responsible for any accidents that occur due to misuse of your carrier. If you have any concerns at all about the condition of your carrier then please contact me.
